Supporting Therapies During Water Fasting https://drthomaslodi.com/supporting-t… Let’s review some supporting therapies during water fasting. In the early stage of water fasting, do what you normally would do. When we say do what you normally would do, what we mean is going to bed early, waking up early, meditating, reading and exercising. You would be all done by 6:30am with meditating, reading and exercising if in fact, you did go to bed early. And, as far as exercise, it doesn’t have to be vigorous. It can be as vigorous as your normal workouts during the first 5-6 days. We would also recommend using the Bemer machine. It’s a mat you sit on twice a day for 8 minutes each time. The Bemer has a certain frequency that actually opens up the microcirculation which represents 70% of our total circulation. This includes arteries and veins and in the middle of it all is the microcirculation. The microcirculation assists the organs and the cells, and this is the most critical place. The circulation in the majority of us is sluggish so this is very helpful. Then we have yoga which is fantastic during fasting. We also have pranayama breathing helping to clean out the lungs. It’s important to remember why we are fasting. When we fast, we have stopped toxifying ourselves or put toxins in our body. In order to thoroughly cleanse the body during a water fast or a green juicing fast, it’s important to move the air in and out of the lungs thoroughly. Colon hydrotherapy is also important here to flush out the colon. Try and do two colonics during the first week and once a week for the next two weeks. Following this, try and do enema’s once a month for maintenance. Let me also emphasize here that reading books is so important and make sure the subject matter revolves around health. Read books on water fasting and juice fasting by experts who know this better than anyone else.    • Health and Disease      / @drthomaslodi
