Skin Definition | Why Is The Skin Important? https://drthomaslodi.com/ I want to walk you through my skin definition and answer the question, why is the skin important? Your skin covers your body but what’s in it and how does it work? We all have light touch receptors, deep touch receptors, heat and cold receptors, pain receptors, and hair. We also have many types of glands such as sweat glands, sebaceous glands, and many other kinds of glands. Do you know what else is coming off of your skin and part of it? Your brain. Also, your eyes, ears, and nose are all part of your skin. All of your senses are like hairs, they are appendages off of your skin. Your skin is the way you are in communication with your environment. This is why what we eat, our nutrition has to be coming from raw organic whole foods in order to provide the best possible nutrition for our internal environment and our skin.    • Nature Heals      / @drthomaslodi
