A brotherhood/sisterhood of people sharing their journeys, knowledge and resources knowing that together their individual resolve and strength is multiplied and synergised into a gestalt that is far beyond what could ever be possible as an individual traveling alone.
The Inner Circle is a growing community of people who are sincerely in pursuit of true health, who are not impressed with slogans or lists of “5 things you must do….”, etc but, rather are seeking to join with others looking for authentic, fundamental truths and practices regarding what health is an how to both obtain and maintain it.
In this regard, members of the Inner Circle support each other by sharing what they have learned and experienced, as well as a special and sacred camaraderie that is and essential aspect of the healing journey
Community for exploring integrative healing, natural healing, and lifestyle-based health approaches.
Community for exploring ways to understand, address, and prevent parasitic imbalances.
Community for learning about CFCs and ways to support the body’s healing. It provides guidance on lifestyle, nutrition, and practical steps for better health.
Darren’s early years in the sport science field were devoted to human performance and muscle physiology. Understanding the science of sports helped him race in 5 Ironman Triathlons. Like any journey in life, it takes twists and turns. Over the last seven years, he has specialized in sarcopenia, chronic disease, and oncology exercise.
Because of his yearning to learn more and to learn something different, Darren wanted to work with people diagnosed with CFCs (Cancer). He wanted to be challenged and grow in new ways.
The team at Oasis sets a new standard with its multi-modality and team approach. There is always something new to learn and having the support to implement new ideas. Every person on the team has a voice that is valued and respected. Each member of the team contributes to a new systemic milieu to reclaim health for their patients. There is the bigger picture at work and each team member plays an important role in that work.
What excites Darren is that Oncology Exercise is still in its infancy. Over the past two decades, clinical attention has focused on the efficacy of exercise therapy as an adjunct strategy following a CFC’s (Cancer) diagnosis. Movement is medicine; excessive and prolonged inactivity has been established to have a definitive role in the pathogenesis of many chronic diseases.
With nearly a decade of experience in health, movement, and nutrition, Vanessa Pinto has dedicated her career to guiding individuals toward sustainable well-being. She began her academic journey with a degree in Biology and a Master’s in Ecology from Lisbon University, later expanding her expertise through certifications as a personal trainer, yoga and meditation teacher, and health coach.
For the past 7 years, Vanessa has worked alongside Dr. Thomas Lodi and his clinic, An Oasis of Healing in Arizona, integrating evidence-based nutrition, movement, and lifestyle strategies into CFCs (Cancer) healing. She believes that true healing stems from addressing the body as a whole – supporting its innate ability to restore balance and vitality.
Vanessa specializes in empowering individuals to reclaim their health by incorporating nature-aligned practices into their daily lives. Whether through mindful movement, nourishing foods, or holistic lifestyle shifts, she helps clients create lasting, positive change.
Deeply inspired by the natural world, Vanessa values authentic connections – with the earth, ourselves, and each other. Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with loved ones, and playing with her dog, Peanut.
